Get a taste of Jamaica when the Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series returns for its second concert on Friday, June 22. The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) will host NDKA at James Island County Park. NDKA, pronounced “in-di-ca,” is a roots reggae dub band from Florida whose musicians are no strangers to the reggae stage. They all hail from strong reggae backgrounds and with experience performing with some of reggae music’s top artists. The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series is open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to come out with a chair or blanket and relax during an outdoor show at James Island County Park. Food is available for purchase on site. Crafters and vendors will be on site with souvenirs also available for purchase. Advance tickets are not available, and admission is $10 per person at the gate. Gold pass holders and kids 12 and under are free. Concerts will take place rain or shine.
