On June 17, 2015, the largest racially motivated mass murder in recent American history occurred. Nine members of Mother Emanuel AME Church were shot to death during a Bible Study with an illegally purchased gun in an effort to spark a race riot. During the 3rd Anniversary of the Mother Emanuel 9 tragedy, all are invited to join our “Call to Action” to end gun violence and acquire racial reconciliation in celebration of the lives and legacies of the victims and survivors. Family members of the Emanuel 9 and survivors have been invited to speak at the event.

“Rallying for Unity” serves as an event to promote love, to embrace diversity, inspire dialogue and change behaviors that will result in racial reconciliation and “common sense” gun laws. The divisive state of affairs globally requires a “Call to Action”, reminding all that “Love is Our Mission”.
