After their remarkable 2023 presentation of Drumfolk, Step Afrika! returns with The Migration: Reflections on Jacob Lawrence. This work depicts the journey of African Americans from the rural South to the industrial North, fleeing Jim Crow and racial violence in the early 1900s.
