Join us at Tiedemann Park (38 Elizabeth Street) on Thursdays in September from 4:00pm – 5:00pm for the WILD in Charleston Program Series!  This series of programs is based around some of the wonderful environmental lesson plans found in Project Wild and Project Wet!  All of these classes will have an interactive component that will allow all the participants to take part in the class.  Here are the lesson plans that are set as of now:

Class #1 (Sept 8th): Fashion A Fish – Kids will learn about various adaptations that fish have and then develop a new species using adaptation cards.

Class #2 (Sept 15th): Are You Me? – A class focused on different types of life cycles.

Class #3 (Sept 22nd):  Wetland Metaphors – Learn about different types of wetlands and the important roles they play.

Class #4 (Sept 29th): TBD

Registration is required for this program.  If interested, please email OlsonM@charleston-sc.gov or call (843) 965-4002.  Registration deadline is Friday, September 2nd.
