Join the Colour of Music Festival for a performance of Hiawantha’s Wedding Feast followed by the Black Classical Renaissance Gala Benefit. Maestro Kazem Adbullah will open the Colour of Music Festival’s Masterworks series, as he conducts Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s magnificent orchestra and choral masterpieceThe Song of Hiawatha’s overture and Hiawatha’s Wedding Feast. Internationally acclaimed tenor Roderick Dixon will sing the solo in the Wedding Feast — the movement that made Mr. Coleridge-Taylor famous for many years, extending the composer’s name throughout the world. Tickets may be purchased individually for the performance, or jointly for both the performance and gala.
