An interesting insight into Suicide and its victims, Andrew Hinderaker shines a light onto the tragedy that becomes a reality in the lives of too many households in the United States. According to Research America, “There are 105 suicides in the United States daily, resulting in over 35,000 deaths per year.” Of these deaths, men are three and a half times more likely to commit suicide than women. As Andrew states in his work “…men don’t speak up. They don’t ask for help.”
Flowertown Underground invites you to join us as we shed some light on a phenomenon that has plagued the world silently for too long. Suicide is preventable and cannot be ignored. Andrew Hinderaker’s work is poignant and brings a much-needed insight into suicide prevention.
