With a voice described by reviewers as “remarkable” and “mesmerizing” and “…next to impossible to do justice to a voice of that quality”, Sally’s concerts are intimately inspirational. She interweaves contemporary and original ballads with stories taken from her life as performer, wife and mother while accompanying herself on guitar and Appalachian dulcimer. Many of Roger’s original songs have become folk classics including “Agnes Won’t You Go With Me”, “Circle of the Sun” and “Love Will Guide Us”. Although many have heard at least one of Sally’s multiple performances on A Prairie Home Companion, folk music fans will not want to miss hearing this iconic folksinger in her first ever LIVE appearance in Charleston. Rogers has fifteen recordings to her credit and an international fan base. She is also known for her long-time collaboration with Claudia Schmidt and has won awards for her work as a children’s music educator.
