Charleston Performing Arts Center is searching for cultural dance troupes and individuals to perform Indian, African, and Latin dance styles for our 2018 Piccolo Spoleto original production. The dances will be staged, choreographed, and provided costumes by Broadway veteran Kirk Pfeiffer. Those interested in auditioning should be prepared to learn two dance combinations that will be taught the day of auditions. Previous experience is not required, only the passion to learn and commitment to the rehearsals and performances. All ethnicities (ages 12 to adult) are strongly encouraged to audition for this multicultural dance concert that takes the audience on a journey through the origin and evolution of the dance art form known today as “Jazz”.

Rehearsals: Tuesday & Thursday evenings 6:30pm – 8pm

Performances: June 1 – 6 (daily)
