Stephanie ‘Birdz I’ Mattis was born in Kingston, Jamaica, a city which gave rise to the biggest names in Reggae Music. While in church at age 9, she wrote her first song, titled “Guide Me.” From there, Birdz I continued working on her craft and has evolved into a skilled contemporary artist with roots in classic reggae, soul and R&B.
