CHARLESTON, SC – Two Sides of the Law is a collection of works from contemporary  collagist Phil Durst and abstract conceptual artist Jared Owens. This show is a play on  the different aspects of the law that each artist has experienced and how they process  that experience through the art they create. Durst is a practicing civil rights lawyer in  Austin, Texas and Owens a self-taught artist during his nearly two decade sentence while  he was in prison. This will be Durst’s first time in Charleston.
