Mr. Sánchez is the newly appointed Director of Piano Studies at the College of Charleston. He is the only American concert pianist to earn a Master of Spanish Music degree under Alicia de Larrocha, which he earned during his research in Spain as a Fulbright Fellow. Sánchez has served on the faculty at Baylor University’s School of Music and at the Wheaton College Conservatory of Music and has concertized throughout North American and Europe. He founded the Dakota Sky International Piano Festival, which has served thousands of listeners and students.
