The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission’s (CCPRC) counterpart to the summertime Shaggin’ on the Cooper events (open to all ages on select Saturday nights), Friday Night Boogie is intended for adults ages 21 and up. Friday Night Boogie will be held on May 11, June 8 and July 13. Each event will begin at 7 p.m. The Mount Pleasant Pier will be groovin’ with the sounds of DJ Jim Bowers spinning a variety of unforgettable oldies, beach music classics, and line dancing hits. Best of all, the event is held at the end of the 1250-foot-long pier next to Memorial Waterfront Park, the perfect spot to catch cool breezes, beautiful scenery, and views of Charleston Harbor and the Ravenel Bridge.
