Ann Herlong-Bodman is the author of the chapbook Pulled Out of Sleep, and her poems have appeared in a variety of journals, including Atlanta Review, The Cortland Review, and The South Carolina Review. After receiving degrees from Columbia College and the University of South Carolina, she taught at the USC School of Journalism and Mass Communications and at Lander University. When the Berlin Wall came down, she taught in East Europe under the auspices of the U.S. Department of State and lives now near Charleston, South Carolina, with her husband Robert. Her first collection, Loose in Far-away Places, is forthcoming from Press 53.

Dennis Ward Stiles grew up on a small dairy farm in northern Illinois. He served thirty years in the Air Force as a pilot and military diplomat. He has published widely in journals, has five chapbooks, Saigon Tea(2000), Black Mirrors (2003), Spit(2004), A Strange Wind Rises (2006), and Humdinger (2007), and a full-length collection, The Fire in Which We Burn (Main Street Rag, 2009). He lives in Charleston with his wife Mary Jane, where he continues to write, and conducts history tours of old Charleston in English and German.

Maria Martin is a writer living in Charleston, SC, and studies with the Long Table Poets. Her poems have been published in Lockjaw Magazine, Painted Bride Quarterly, The Indianola Review, and Spillway, and interviews in Charleston Magazine.
