“Front Lines to the Home Front” is back! In its fourth production, this truly extraordinary event, at the community theatre in Summerville, follows the “4th of July” on July 6 & 7 at 8PM and July 7 & 8 at 3PM; yes, a second matinee performance. This show is the best excuse in town to continue wearing your red, white, & blue and is appropriate for all ages.

“Front Lines to the Home Front” touches the hearts of many of our local veterans, community members, and those who currently serve in our armed forces. The patriotic cabaret combines local letters, photos, songs, acting, dancing, and history as we travel through the major events of the twentieth century up through today. The script is ever evolving with new stories, photos, and events.
“Last year, I added the military “White Table” to the show. This started during Viet Nam War where the military personnel would set an empty place setting for those who were missing in action. In “Front Lines”, cast members, who had served in the Armed Forces, put on their uniforms and silently set the White Table while a heart-felt video played in the background. The reverence each person displayed brought home the patriotic duty our service men and women display, even knowing that in times of combat they may not return”, stated creator/director Monica Shows. CELEBRATING OUR VETERANS THROUGH THEATRE, MUSIC, AND DANCE
Donations will also be taken during the weekend to support the Veterans Victory Group at the Victory House in Walterboro, SC. This money is used to purchase items for the Veterans who now call the Victory House home.
