Zephyr is Charleston’s freshest Celtic Band on the scene, known for riveting performances of feisty dance tunes and haunting melodies. They will play a lively mix of old and new Irish, Scots, Welsh, and Breton music to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style. The trio is comprised of Charleston’s favorites: Karin McQuade (lead vocals and fiddle), Susan Conant (Irish flutes and whistles), and Abigail Kent. Two of Zephyr’s members are past winners of Charleston Music Club Scholarships and donations are welcomed for future student scholarships.
