The laugh-out-loud, outrageously funny Avenue Q, a raucous musical puppet show for adults and one of Charleston Stage’s top-grossing musicals ever, returns for an encore run as part of our 40th Anniversary Season. With a catchy score written by Robert Lopez, (also composer of The Book of Mormon and Disney’s Frozen), Avenue Q tells the story of a bright young college graduate named Princeton who moves to the big city to begin life as a grown up only to discover that there are lessons to be learned—lessons told by Ave Q’s delightful and wisecracking neighborhood of puppets!
