Pooches have one more chance to enjoy the waters at the 9^th annual Dog Day Afternoon at Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark on Sunday, Sept. 10. From 12-5 p.m., dogs can play in this waterpark located at North Charleston Wannamaker County Park. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate. Dog-related vendors will also be on site as well as non-profit rescue groups. Pet owners are encouraged to stop by and support these great vendors.

Dogs must be up-to-date on all necessary vaccinations to enter the event. To maximize canine fun, owners will not be allowed to swim or go more than ankle deep in the water at the event. Food and beverages will be available for purchase at park concession stands to help humans cool down. While in the park and for the safety of all guests, owners are encouraged to keep their dogs close at hand and in control at all times.
