René Marie has blessed this city several times with her amazing voice and energy. On October 20, the CJO is pleased to take the stage with René Marie and her band named ‘Experiment in Truth’ (featuring pianist John Chin, bassist Elias Bailey, and drummer Quentin E. Baxter). The performance will include René Marie’s original material and several new arrangements by Charleston musicians, Robert Lewis, Mark Sterbank, Frank Duvall and Demetrius Doctor.
