A Backpack Journalist provides documentary photography, storytelling, collection of oral histories, and real world journalism experiences for students throughout the Lowcountry. They will be presenting the films “The Charleston’s Maritime History and Harbor: Today, Going Forward,” “The Port That Connects Us All: SC Ports Authority,” a preview of the 2019 release “Stories of Community Courage in the Lowcountry During the Civil Rights Era,” and a few film shorts on Charleston parks.
