Charleston, SC., February 5, 2018
The Taylor Music Group will present a Benefit Concert entitled “Rob, Mary and Friends” at 7pm on February 19 at Circular Congregation Church. The evening will include performances by well-known Charleston singers and instrumentalists such as baritone David Templeton; cello-piano duo Natalia Khoma and Volodymyr Vynnytsky; folk specialist Bart Saylor, recorder player and harpist Jim Carrier; as well as performances by singers from the Taylor Festival Choir, accompanied by Jennifer McPherson. The full Taylor Festival Choir will perform as well. The evening will be hosted by Mary and Rob Taylor—who will also perform. A Silent Auction will conclude the evening.
Recently chosen to perform a feature concert and the prestigious Raymond W. Brock commissioned work at the 12-state ACDA Southern Division convention, this concert will assist the Taylor Festival Choir cover costs as they represent Charleston at this prestigious conference. TFC’s repertoire will feature their convention repertoire.
