Dinner Theatre – Frederick Douglass…No Turning Back presented by the Actors’ Theatre of South Carolina In honor of Black History Month, The Actors’ Theatre of South Carolina will present this one-act show set in the year 1872 in an anti-slavery church in Ohio. The church is pastored by Reverend Brewster (Clarence Felder), who invites Frederick Douglass (Kyle Taylor) to address his congregation. Douglass recounts his wild journey from being a slave to one of the greatest orators, educators, and reformers in American history. This wonderful play is full of bravery, hope, and song! Buffet menu includes ricotta, mushroom and spinach stuffed chicken breast with tomato coulis, garden salad, orzo and rice pilaf, brussels sprouts medley, dinner rolls, and caramel fudge pecan cake.
