Taylor Festival Choir Presents: American Voices
The Taylor Festival Choir will present a Benefit Choral Concerts entitled “American Voices” at 3pm on January 28 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, and at 7pm on January 27 at Orangeburg Presbyterian Church. Recently chosen to perform a feature concert and the prestigious Raymond W. Brock commissioned work at the 12-state American Choral Directors Association Southern Division convention (Louisville, KY), these concerts will assist the TFC cover the costs of this prestigious appearance. TFC’s repertoire will feature their convention repertoire as well as American folk songs and spirituals, and works by Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein.
Performances will occur at 7pm on January 27 at Orangeburg Presbyterian Church and 3pm on January 28 at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Charleston.
