One of Charleston’s most celebrated vocalists and theatre artists kicks off our first ever Piano Bar Series as Brian Porter debuts his first ever cabaret show An Evening With Brian Porter. Brian, who’s acclaimed resume includes memorable performances in Cabaret (The Emcee), Thrill Me: The Leopold & Loeb Story (Richard Loeb), Hedwig & the Angry Inch (Hedwig) will be joined by special guest artists Becca Anderson and Brannen Daugherty for an evening of song and stories of his Charleston theatre adventures. Armed only with a baby grand, a pianist, Brian and his guests will take on a collection of past personal favorites, standards and other admired pieces from a variety of Broadway’s finest musical masterpieces.
