Learn creative approaches to mixed media art in this introductory level course. Christine Bush Roman will lead you through experimentation and help you create 2 of your own mixed media pieces.

Students will explore techniques for creating a collage base, using found objects in the work, using stencils and stamps to create texture/pattern/imagery, approaches to layering and texture, and basic acrylic painting. Students will learn how to approach and lay out a mixed media piece.
